About Finance Wales

Finance Wales backs Welsh small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) with growth finance.

We can invest from £1,000 to £3 million at a time and we offer debt (micro loans and loans), mezzanine and equity investments. 

Finance Wales can also syndicate/co-invest to ensure an SME has the capital it needs.

We can also invest at all stages (early stage, development capital, as well as succession and acquisition).

Finance Wales was set up in 2001 to invest in Welsh SMEs and we’ve been investing in them ever since.  Our team of investment professionals is based throughout Wales at our offices in Cardiff, Llanelli, Newtown and St Asaph.
