Why we invested
DLT Training is a successful, well-established business
specialising in industrial training, including transport
and construction training.
Finance Wales invested in the business' 2006 buy-out, a deal completed by Senior Portfolio
Executive, Dave Perez.
Outcome
DLT Training continued to work with Finance Wales following our
original investment. The business traded successfully under
new management and had repaid its original loan by 2009.
A number of new contracts meant DLT Training outgrew its
premises and required a second investment
round from Finance Wales in 2009 to fund its relocation
and refurbishment. DLT Training's new warehouse,
classroom and office space have underpinned the business'
continuing expansion.
As DLT Training's geographical coverage grew, its management
team returned for a third investment round from Finance
Wales. A £50,000 loan will now allow DLT Training to
invest in new vehicles, enabling it to enhance its reputation as a
high quality, UK training services provider.
