Why we invested
Enfis was a spin-out from Swansea
University that received initial equity funding from the Wesley
Clover Corporation, chaired by Sir Terry Matthews.
Outcome
After receiving two investment rounds from Finance Wales, in
2004 and 2005, Enfis has grown into one of the world's leading
developers and suppliers of intelligent high-power light emitting
diode (LED) arrays and smart engines.
Finance Wales successfully exited in 2008 with a 1.5x
return.
