Why we invested
GMF Motor Factors is a well-established, family business. It
deals in wholesale auto parts for trade buyers and has a loyal
customer base. It expanded due to a strong business model.
Four members of the McNally family bought equal shares in GMF in
a management buy-out in 2002. In 2009, the company's two managing
directors approached Finance Wales with a plan to buy-out the
non-executive shareholders.
