As winners of Technium Challenge 2005/06, Trace
Technologies relocated to state of the art innovation
centre, Technium OpTIC. Finance Wales also recognised Trace’s
growth potential from its business plan and structured a £600,000
syndicated deal with a xénos business angel and other private and
institutional investors.
Swansea-based FauvelKhan entered Technium
Challenge in 2008 and worked with commercial spin-out manager Barry
Wanless. FauvelKhan’s business plan secured debt investment from
Finance Wales to help it commercialise its product.
