"The current economic climate has
hardened many businesses and made them more resourceful," says
Finance Wales’ investment director, Peter Wright.
"Indeed, many businesses have realised what they need to do
about the future . But realising what you need to do is only part
of the story."
Having invested £29 million so far in 2009-10, Finance Wales
continues to work with businesses and their advisors through such
economic uncertainty as they make plans for their future.
"Many businesses know what they need to do and the economic
climate has even presented them with excellent opportunities,"
Wright continues.
"Although many might still be able to source working capital,
sourcing growth capital is a different matter and that’s where
Finance Wales can help."

Capitalising on commercial investment
"Undoubtedly, many businesses need to be better capitalised if
they are to achieve their growth plans," Wright explains.
"However, for many, the thought of turning their plans into
reality can be daunting and all too often making plans can end up
in the ‘too difficult’ category."
