xénos, the Wales Business Angel Network Ltd, has appointed a new
Regional Manager for South-East Wales to develop new investment
opportunities in the region.

within small and medium-sized (SMEs) businesses, will work with
companies seeking growth funding from private investors, known as
business angels.
xénos, a wholly owned subsidiary of Finance Wales Plc, is part
funded by European Objective 1 and 2 funds. It has facilitated more
than £10million private sector investment in over 90 deals in
Wales-based SME’s since its formation in 1997, funding all stages
of development from early stage through to expansion, acquisition
and turnaround.
Leanna Davies, xénos Network Manager, said: “Ensuring businesses
can access funding for growth is critical to their future success.
Xénos works closely with such companies to identify investors who
can add value and ensure such a relationship works. David brings a
great deal of commercial experience to the team which will be
invaluable to the companies we assist.”
David Maas said: “I’m very pleased to be joining xénos and
working closely with companies throughout South-East Wales who are
keen to grow and expand. It’s important for companies to be able to
access such investment and I’m looking forward to developing these
opportunities.”
